A Change In Planes!

I thanked someone a couple nights ago for his contribution to the ministry in Africa and when I did, he told me that he planned to give regularly. He said that he’s been wanting to jump on board for awhile and that this is a small way he can be a part of the ministry in Africa.
We’re so thankful that he has joined our team as we prepare to go overseas. But, it’s not a small way as he said. His support and the support that others have shown, is so huge to us! Without the prayer support and financial giving of others, we can’t go to do the work in Africa that God has called us to do.
To communicate where we are at in the process of getting overseas, we have shown a picture of a little airplane with four people inside, representing our family, flying from Chicago to Yaounde, Cameroon. The airplane gets closer to Africa with each person who commits to partnering with us through financial giving. (See these pictures below!)

But I was thinking, especially when our most recent partner joined our team and said what he did, that instead of just the four of us in that little airplane, the photo should really be of an airplane that seats more people. That picture would communicate much better how it is not just our family of four that goes to do the ministry in Africa. But instead, each one that prays and each one that gives, has a seat on the plane and is a part in the ministry that we will be doing in Africa!  We’re so thankful for each one who has jumped on board and is a part of the ministry of developing, empowering, and releasing African Christian leaders in youth, children’s and holistic ministry so that the Lord may be made known among the nations.

  1. Praise God for this beautiful picture of Christ’s body coming together, to share Him in Africa. 🙂 My prayers are with you!
    Love you all!
    Chelsea 🙂

  2. I get a window seat! 🙂 Hee, hee! Love you guys!
