Cameroon Team Building

(Most of the) Yaounde, Cameroon Team, November, 2013

We were blessed with the opportunity to have a couple days this past week, in Minneapolis, MN with other families who the Lord has called to Yaounde, Cameroon!   Our city team leader and his family have been in Cameroon for almost three years, and they have been waiting for their team to arrive!  We are continuing to develop ministry partners (people who want to partner with us by praying faithfully and by giving on a monthly basis).  When we are fully funded, then we will go to join them in the work!  And the other two families currently on the team are also developing ministry partners in the States.

What a special time to get to know our team-mates better!  We learned how God called them to serve in Africa and what they are passionate about!  We also learned what God has been doing in their lives and how we could pray for one another.

The kids had a great time playing together too which we’re so thankful for!  🙂 It was so good for them to meet some of the other kids on our team; new friends who will be in Cameroon when we arrive or shortly after.

We give thanks to the Lord that we aren’t going alone to Cameroon, but that we will go and be a part of this special team of believers who love Jesus and have been called to serve Him there.  We look forward to what the Lord will do!

Please pray for our family, as well as for our team members; that our funding will come in and that we will trust the Lord for His perfect timing.

In Christ,
Cathy Lynn

    • Dear Pastor Eric and Gladness, Thank you so much for praying for us, and also for our team. That means so much to us. We look forward to seeing you, and worshiping together with your church family.

  4. Cathy,

Continuing to pray for you guys in this support raising adventure! God’s timing is perfect, but sometimes it’s hard to wait for that! We can relate.
